Space and comfort are the essence of an MPV, so we need to take a close look at the route that these two have taken. On paper, they both offer seven seats, and the usual luxuries. Removal 1. Raise and support the vehicle. 2. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter housing. 3. Loosen the oil cooler outlet (1) and the inlet (2) lines from engine block. See Fig. 16 . 4. Lower the vehicle. 5. Remove the intake plenum. See INTAKE PLENUM . 6. Remove the intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD & SPACER . 7. • Place the bike on the center stand and remove the current shock absorber.
• Place the Hyperpro shock in the bike, type 461 with reservoir as shown in the picture. If your shock is equipped with the optional hydraulic preload adjuster place the banjo bolt of the HPA to the right side of the bike.
• Use the two added clamps and rubber blocks to mount the reservoir on the sub frame.
• Route the hose of the HPA as shown in the picture
How to determine what kind of brake calipers and ABS system is equipped. During the development of the cruise control for the R1150GS we have been aware, that it two different types of front caliper and two different ABS systems to this model, and some bikes without ABS equipped. To provide the correct Kit for the bike, we need to know what type of front brake calipers has your bike, and the ABS system (if available) the machine has. This is easy to identify by you the instructions below. Identify the front brake calipers. Earlier models were equipped with Brembo brake calipers.
