Assist you in responding to customer questions about brake operation, and provides diagnostic and repair information for each item listed, if any should occur. Most brake issues fall into the following categories: a. Brake Noise: A squeak, squeal, clunk, or groan that occurs when the brakes are applied or released. b. Brake Judder: A vibration that can be felt in the vehicle, steering wheel, or brake pedal when the brakes are applied. c. Pedal Feel: The effort needed to operate the brakes is too high or too low. 2005 Infiniti G35 Sedan Removal and Installation of High-Pressure Flexible Hose

REMOVAL 1. Use a refrigerant collecting equipment (for HFC-134a) to discharge the refrigerant. 2. Remove engine cover. Refer to “INTAKE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR”. 3. Remove air cleaner assembly, air hose and air duct. Refer to “AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT”. 4. Remove mounting bolt from high-pressure flexible hose bracket. 5. Disconnect one-touch joint between high-pressure flexible hose and condenser. a. Set a disconnector (92530-89912) on A/C piping. b. Slide a disconnector upward until it clicks. c. Slide A/C piping upward and disconnect it. CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air. 6. Remove mounting nuts from high-pressure flexible hose, and then remove high-pressure flexible hose.

2001 Infiniti QX4 LEFT BANK INTAKE VALVE TIMING CONTROL POSITION SENSOR

NOTE: Before performing diagnostic procedure, follow testing procedure. See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. DTC Confirmation Test Malfunction is detected when an excessively high or low voltage is sent to ECM from Intake Valve Timing Control (IVTC) position sensor. Possible causes are: IVTC position sensor circuit open or shorted. Faulty IVTC position sensor. Faulty Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor (REF). Faulty CKP sensor (POS). Faulty Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor. To set DTC, turn ignition on and select DATA MONITOR with scan tool. Slightly increase engine speed and hold for at least 10 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, go to PROCEDURE . Reference Values For ECM Terminals and Reference Values, see Fig. 39 . Procedure 1. Turn ignition off. Loosen and retighten engine ground bolts. If the driver’s seat in an applied vehicle will not move in the forward or backward direction, the seat slide motor and gear assembly may need replacement (see figure 1). If this should occur, follow the Service Procedure in this bulletin to assist in diagnosing the incident and, if necessary, install the Seat Slide Motor kit (see the Parts Information section of this bulletin).
