You may need to clear the HP printer cartridge contacts, if power is a flashing light, after installation of the print cartridge and the printer will not print because of a clogged cartridge contact or one of the following messages may also display on your computer:
* Incorrect print cartridge
* Print cartridge is in the wrong slot "
* "Problem of cartridge print '

How to clean a printer cartridge contacts

-Distilled water. Use bottled or filtered water, distilled water is not available. Tap water may contain contaminants, which damage the cartridge.

* Clean the wool or soft, without fibre material which will not be glued to the cartridges (coffee filters work well).

* Sheets of paper or paper towel to rest on the rounds during the cleaning.

3. Open the product coverage and wait until the service is silent and stay.

4.Eject the tape from the printer and place it on a sheet of paper with a nozzle plate up.

5.Unplug the product from the electrical outlet.

6. Swab is then immersed in clean water and remove most of the moisture press. Swab should be only slightly damp.
