Correct problems with the motherboard

Since all computer components are connected to the motherboard, it may be difficult to troubleshoot errors on the motherboard. If the motherboard does not fully, not discard will be heard, because the computer is unable to make the power of automatic testing. Fluctuations in power supply and spikes can damage the motherboard.

How to troubleshoot your motherboard:
1. check whether the power supply to the motherboard is connected properly. Also check the voltage at the output of the power, with the help of the multimeter. If an output voltage of power is very low, replace the power supply.
2. Inspect the motherboard and remove dust or particles that may cause shorting. If all contacts seems to be oxidized, remove oxidation. Sometimes jumpers may cease when the computer is moved, so check to see if they are installed correctly.
3. check connectors and see if any of the pins are bent. Try to repair them slowly, taking care to ensure that they do not break
4. on older motherboards may be a problem because of leaks electrolytic capacitors (manufacturing defect). You can either replace the capacitors or motherboard.
5. If you changed the speed of the Processor (over clocking), return the speed BIOS default setting. This can be done when the computer starts
6., make sure that the CPU fan is working properly. This is very important for the Processor AMD Athlon or Duron, as well as to generate more heat, compared to the Intel Processor.
7. details of the motherboard is usually recorded on the motherboard and the manual provided with your computer. If you want to upgrade to a new Processor, verify that the Processor is compatible with the motherboard. Also ensure that the power supply is appropriate.
8. battery voltage CMOS should be checked. Ideally the voltage must be 3 v, but if the voltage is lower than the 2.8 V, the battery should be replaced.
