2002 Land Rover Freelander Camshaft timing belt removal

1. Disconnect battery Earth lead. 2. Remove accessory drive belt. 3. Remove RH front road wheel. 4. remove 3 bolts securing shield RH to House startup and remove shield. 5. Remove 3 bolts securing camshaft timing belt LH rear cover and remove cover. Timing belt alignment front 6. Rotate the crankshaft in a clockwise direction and alignment of the engine "safe" position, exactly what I needed at crankshaft pulley align "arrow" front mounting plate and the timing marks aligned with the rear camshaft gears as pictured. 7. remove the bolt securing the engine front mounting hose PAS platform No.8. Removing 3 Torx bolts that PAS pump pulleys and pulley removal. 9. remove 3 bolts securing PAS pump mounting plate from the front and tie crop pump. 10. release battery terminal lead alternator cover, loosen the Terminal nut and disconnect from terminal lead. 11. Unplug multiplug by alternator. 12. remove the lower bolt and nut and bolt securing the oil cooler in the front mounting plate. 13. Remove alternator. 14. Remove Torx screw securing pulley lazy for placing and removing plaque from the front pulley. 15. Loosen bolt securing lower engine steady in front subframe. 16. remove the bolt securing stable tank placement, release stable by placing the lower tank engine under the engine. 17. Remove 3 screws securing the front cover RH camshaft Timing belt and cover. Download
