1. Remove soundproofing Panel sprang from under the glove box. See thermal insulation Panel. 2. remove the screws for the cover for air filter of the passenger compartment. see Figure 1. remove the cover. 3. remove the cabin air filter by pulling downwards and outwards. installation Note: there are 2 alternative positions for the air filter. see Figure 2. Filter pollen (standard) must be installed in a compartment for smaller (1). multi filter (cars with sensor for air quality) must be installed in a wider compartment (2). Install the pollen filter or multi filter. both filters must be installed together. installation of the passenger compartment air cleaner and cover. Install the screws. front left screw must not be more than 7 inch lbs. (0.8 n. m). 2. install soundproofing Panel. soundproofing Panel Note: back of the soundproofing Panel is attached to the dashboard with clips and is located in the channel at the front. Remove and install, with the exception of the xc 90 1. Remove 2 screws from the thermal insulation Panel in field of wear. the clips pull straight down. 2. pull soundproofing panel back in the car. 3. lift soundproofing Panel. to install, you must restore the procedure for removal. removal and installation, xc 90 1. remove the underdash Panel. see Figure 3. 2. Remove 2 screws. 3. underdash, soundproofing Panel is removed. to install, you must restore the procedure for removal.
