In case of a complaint of the customer of the above condition on a 2002-04 my X-TYPE vehicle within the above range VIN, the operation of the air inlet door mix testing first. If the volume remains the same then the air inlet door mix suspect. To put right to follow the workshop procedure below. WORKSHOP PROCEDURE 1. Open the door. 2. turn the ignition ON. 3. operate the front seat for full access. 4. The air recirculation switch must be in the fresh air mode. 5. turn on the ignition "OFF". 6. remove the glove compartment hinge retaining screws (Figure 1). 7. remove the glove compartment retaining screws (Figure 2). 8. disconnect the glove compartment lamp electrical connector (Figure 3). 9. remove the glove compartment. 10. disconnect the air inlet mix door actuator electrical connector, undo, and delete of the climate control upper front stepper motor protect screws and supplant the stepper motor climate control and move work access (Figure 4). 11. remove the inlet air mix door actuator securing screws (Figure 5). 12. moving and deleting of the actuator. 13. all vehicles, align the actuator shaft as follows: connect the air inlet mix door actuator with electrical connections, and select the ignition "on". Set the shaft in the correct position by a combination of the operational air recirculation button ON/OFF and unplugged from the electrical connector at the right time. The flat opposite the curved face must set closest to and parallel with the line on the body of the actuator (Figure 6). Note: A DTC be saved during the alignment procedure since the open circuit will be detected. 14. Select ignition sources ' OFF '. 15. make sure that the air inlet door mix is in the position of the fresh air.Download
