1998-2005, Audi C5 platform for removing and installing the cylinder

The following instructions apply to the left cylinder head. Delete delete ribbed belt = > page 13-6. Remove toothed belt = > page 13-10. Noise isolation group (arrows). Unbolt the left and right side of the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifolds. Unbolt the exhaust system of the transfer arm. Place clean VW1306 receptacle or Pan leak in the engine. Remove the filler neck with COOLANT expansion tank. WARNING! Pressure cooling system with heat engine. Open expansion tank, wearing gloves and other protective cover cap with cloth and carefully to reduce the pressure in the system slow. Unscrew drain plug (arrow) on the left side of the radiator. Install drain hose for connection if necessary. Remove the drain plug on the engine coolant (arrow) using 3247 hex ball socket and refrigerant leakage. Remove the consumption of air duct between the mass air flow sensor and air intake elbow. Detach the harness to connectors -3 manifold valve settings reception and intake air temperature sensor- -4. Move the transaction clearly. Disconnect vacuum line (arrows). Disconnect the hose between the evaporation emissions (EVAP) filter cleaning valve regulator and throttle Assembly at the Assembly of the throttle. Unbolt conservation plate for manifold valve settings consumption (bolts- -2). Disconnect the connector Assembly throttle and disconnect vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator. Disconnect the connectors, harness from the camshaft valve and fuel injectors (arrows). Disconnect the connectors, harness from engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) and camshaft position sensor (CMP) (arrows). Cut open the tie wraps on the cover of cylinder head, unclip the reservation transactions at fuel rail and disable cylinder block a respite from the left and right side of the cylinder cover. Moving the hoses and wiring clear rear. Remove the 4 bolts on intake manifold fuel rail. Unclip the fuel supply and return lines from the reservation. Moving the fuel rail, fuel injectors, however, is clear. Note: Cover fuel injectors with a clean cloth. Disconnect the spark plug (left). Unbolt the ignition coil bracket (4 bolts) and move it right along with the ignition coils.
