P0741: torque converter clutch circuit stuck the note: record all freeze the data and analyze general troubleshooting before you troubleshoot. Warm up the engine to the normal operating temperature (radiator fan comes on). Make sure that transmission is filled to the appropriate level and check for fluid leaks. Drainage ATF through the strainer. Review the filter for metal debris or excessive clutch material. Does metal strainer trash or excessive clutch material? Yes – replace transfer? No to replace the ATF, and then go to step 4. Clear the DTC with the HDS. Select test solenoid lock in different test menu and verify that the torque converter clutch solenoid valve works with the HDS. Hear a clicking sound? Yes – go to step 6. No to replace the torque converter clutch solenoid valve, and then go to step 10. Click the (c) Magnetic pressure control Clucth (Linear) in various test menu and check the A/T grip control solenoid valve c with the HDS. This system is OK? Yes – go to step 7. NO-follow the instructions indicated on the HDS to the test result, and then go to step 10. Run the engine until the engine coolant temperature reaches 176° F (80° C). Test drive the car at 55 mph (88 km/h) 2 minutes, in monitoring the speed of the vehicle with the HDS. DATABASE health monitoring for data P0741 DTC/freeze mode menu A/T to pass/fail.
